Welcome to the home of the Spine Quality Outcomes Database (SQOD), a clinical data registry that will follow individuals with spine related issues longitudinally, created by the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (AAPM&R) and the American Association of Neurological Surgeons (AANS).
If you intend to use SQOD to report your CMS Quality Payment Program requirements for 2017, the following deadlines apply:
August 1, 2017: Data extraction site contract deadline
October 1, 2017: Web entry site contract deadline
New contracting for the 2018 CMS Quality Payment Program reporting will begin in the Fall of 2017 given SQOD receives QCDR status for 2018.
If you do not intend to use SQOD to report your CMS Quality Payment Program requirements, SQOD will onboard you at any time.
The data collected through the Spine Quality Outcomes Database will advance the understanding of the ever-growing spine patient population while demonstrating the quality and value of treatments.
As a participant, you benefit by: improving patient care, efficiently managing patient populations, benchmarking your practice, enhancing quality and practice efficiency, and saving time by automatically meeting MIPS reporting requirements.
